Cosmos has reintroduced its dedicated Greece and Turkey brochure after a three-year break. Millennium Greece and Turkey is aimed at couples and younger groups. New products for 2000 include all-inclusive Gulet holidays and two new coach tours. The seven-day ‘Turquoise Coast Deluxe Cruise’ departs from Bodrum and has a lead-in price of £449. The cruise is also available as a two-centre break. Departures for the 13-day ‘Grand Tour of Turkey’ are available from February to December. The lead-in price is £538. The 15-day ‘Highlights of Turkey’ tour has departures from May until October. Prices start at £499.
n airtours emphasises affordable luxury
Airtours’ Prestige brochure for 2000 places an emphasis on affordable luxury in its Turkish resorts. The latest brochure features a new Prestige property, the Antalya Renaissance. Seven nights in May at the new all-inclusive property in Beldibi, near Antalya, starts at £569.
n bookings rise for Mark warner resort
Mark Warner has reported a steady rise in bookings for its new Clubhotel Altinel in Bodrum. The resort replaced the Palm Beach and Javelin Club hotels in the Mark Warner summer 1999 brochure. With an emphasis on family holidays and watersports, the new hotel offers facilities for windsurfing, sailing and waterskiing. The nearby Bodrum Diving Centre offers scuba diving as well. Kids clubs are also available.
Mark Warner’s lead-in price is £445 for seven nights’ full-board, including flights and transfers and all sports activities, except scuba diving.
