Newmarket unveils new well-being measures

Newmarket Holidays has announced a six-point charter to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients on its tours.

The new Covid-19 safety regulations aim to keep clients safe and reassured.

The six points of the charter cover local knowledge and expertise; enhanced cleaning programmes; clear customer communication strategy before and during the tour; a pre-tour health declaration from all customers; capacity adjustments and wellbeing strategy with all partners; and a safer experience from the moment clients.

The operator says on its website: “With 37 years’ experience operating tours, together with our excellent supplier and partnership relationships, you can rest assured that we are well-prepared to ensure your safety and wellbeing, whatever the new world of hospitality and tourism may look like.

“Our experience and expertise enable you to travel safely in the knowledge that we have robust plans in place for your welfare, and that these practices will be continually monitored.

“As founder members of the Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers (Atas), we have been working hard recently to develop increased safety regulations to keep you safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, we have committed to a six-point charter to ensure your safety and wellbeing.”

Details can be found on the Newmarket website and the dedicated section on the Atas members site featuring post-Covid health measures.
