Thomas Cook releases more Olympic tickets

Tickets to events at the 2012 Olympic Games in London already sold out in the public ballot have been released by Thomas Cook.


The final selection of breaks available from the official short break provider to the games include athletics, gymnastics, equestrian jumping and modern pentathlon.


But hotel accommodation is located near Heathrow, Kingston, Park Royal and Marylebone, require travel to the Olympics site in east London.


Cook’s London 2012 programme managing director Stephen Vaughan said: “We’re really pleased to be able to offer more Games Breaks to events already sold out  -accessible to all through our high street stores and online.”   


Princes start at £99 per person a night staying at the Ibis London Heathrow to watch the women’s preliminary volleyball on July 28-29.


Rates rise to £399pp staying one night at the Holiday Inn Heathrow M4 to watch men’s boxing on August 8 and athletics heats and qualifying rounds the following day.
