n london city airport appoints business manager



London City Airport has appointed Jon Carter to manage its new business centre, which becomes fully-operational later this month. It will offer 20 air-conditioned rooms, fax and photocopying facilities and also Internet access. Carter joins from Downhall Hotel in Essex, where he was conference and banqueting manager.



n two accounts worth over £1m for bath travel



Bath Travel’s business division has won two accounts worth more than £1m. The agency will handle the worldwide travel for women’s clothes retailer New Look and DEK Printing Machines. Both companies are based in Weymouth, Dorset.



n dnata in joint-venture with instone international



Dnata Agencies has set up a joint-venture with Instone International to supply travel services to the United Arab Emirates. Services will include 24hr reservations and ticketing, meet and greet in Dubai, a visa service, crew transfers and competitive hotel accommodation at short notice.
