Holland America Line is offering 2% bonus commission to agents in a bid to stimulate demand for next year while cruises remain paused.
The offer covers new 2021 Alaska, Europe and Canada/New England cruise bookings and Alaska land and sea trips made by the end of September.
The itineraries are eligible for the line’s ‘Save Now, Cruise Later: Have it All’ promotion which has been extended until September 30.
The incentive includes free drinks, gratuities, specialty dining, wi-fi in the company’s “biggest offer”.
HAL president added Gus Antorcha said: “Our cruises might be paused, but travel advisors are continuing to plan Holland America Line vacations for their clients, and with the extension of this promotion and the reassurance of our cancellation protection program it’s the perfect time to book.
“The 2% bonus commission for travel advisors is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty, for your confidence in Holland America Line and for extending that confidence to your clients. The promotion for guests and bonus commission for agents makes it a win-win for everyone.”
UK and Ireland managing director Lynn Narraway said: “This promotion makes a Holland America Line cruise almost all-inclusive for travellers.
“Guests may also save 10% on their cruise fare via our ‘Pay Early Bonus Offer’ if they pay in full by September 30, which will also mean that travel partners will receive their full commission at this time.
“Remember also that agent partners can earn an extra 2% bonus commission when they book Holland America Line 2021 Alaska, Europe & Canada & New England cruises by 30 September 2020.”
