Ryanair is running a flash sale of seats at €19.99 to Portugal ahead of the country being removed from the UK’s quarantine list.
The fares are available until midnight on Sunday for travel in late August and September.
Placing Portugal on the UK travel corridor following a sharp decline in cases of Cvid-19 is welcome news for millions of Ryanair customers, the no-frills carrier said.
Marketing and digital director Dara Brady said: “Ryanair welcomes the decision by the UK government to place Portugal on its ‘safe list’ of countries UK travellers can visit.
“This will no doubt be welcome news for millions of UK customers, so we’re delighted to announce a flash seat sale on flights to Portugal in August and September, with fares as low as €19.99 one way.”
The government declared on Thursday that British holidaymakers to Portugal will no longer have to quarantine for two weeks on their return from 4am on Saturday.
