Bhav Taylor joins live chat specialist Yomdel

Former Travelport partnership account manager Bhav Taylor has joined live chat specialist Yomdel.

Taylor will be responsible for driving sales strategy, with a special focus on travel, leisure and hospitality and coming up with strategic plans to support the industry adapt to a drastically changed business landscape.

She will work directly with the senior management team and report to Yomdel founder and chief executive Andy Soloman.

Taylor is well-known in the industry. Prior to joining Travelport in July 2019 she worked as a strategic consultant for The Travel Network Group and as strategic account manager at Celebrity Cruises. Before that she spent 14 years in management roles at Thomas Cook.

Soloman said Taylor brought with her a “proven track record and huge experience within the leisure, luxury, cruise and travel technology sectors”.

He said: “Relationships are crucial, and we know she has a strong network, a reputation for making things happen and building lasting partnerships to ensure a win – win for all parties. I’m very excited that she has joined us.”

He added: “Businesses need to reinvent how they engage with customers, and while we have solutions to help travel companies Bhav has the relationships, ability, and vision to help us grow further.”

Taylor, who left Travelport in July, said: “With customers very much in control, service delivery and outstanding customer experiences are critical for businesses wishing to move forward.  This role allows me to bring a different view to the business, build on existing partnerships, explore and grow opportunities in all sectors including the travel industry.”

Yomdel has reported strong growth in demand for its 24/7 managed live chat services in recent months as more people choose to engage with others online in real time as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
