Your Car Hire has ceased trading, the company has announced.
The Croydon-based trade-only car rental broker has updated its website to inform agents and customers it had entered into liquidation after 17 years in business.
It said it had been on course for a record year before the pandemic.
The statement, from managing director Ruth Bligh, said: ‘’It is with great sadness that I confirm that Your Car Hire has ceased trading with immediate effect.
“Although 2020 was looking to be our best ever year with sales in the first quarter up by 25% on 2019, we have had thousands of cancellations due to Covid 19 and with the recovery proving to be very slow, we are unable to continue trading.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the 17 years we have been in business and wish you all the very best in the future.”
