Morocco has relaxed border regulations for international visitors but the country remains off the UK travel corridor list.
Travellers seeking to enter the north African country must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test where the results are dated no more than 72 hours before departure.
Passengers must also provide either an invitation issued by a Moroccan company, or an accommodation booking for the duration of their stay.
The country had been due to host the Abta Travel Convention this month, which is now to be staged in a virtual format on October 14.
Morocco is currently served from the UK by Royal Air Maroc from Heathrow to Casablanca three times weekly, while Air Arabia runs flights from Gatwick to Tangier twice a week.
Moroccan National Tourist Office UK and Ireland director Jamal Kilito said: “As we emerge from the pandemic, we are looking forward to welcoming British and Irish travellers to the Kingdom of Morocco where they can enjoy a truly exceptional tourism experience with peace of mind.
“With secure health and safety measures in place, we are confident that we can rebuild our tourism industry and provide travellers with the warm Moroccan welcome they have always enjoyed.”
