Independent Travel Experts, the homeworking division of the The Travel Network Group, has beaten its target by recruiting 35 homeworkers.
The homeworking group said it had expected to reach a total of 12 recruits by the end of the year and has managed to nearly treble that number.
ITE was launched in September by former homeworkers Amanda Taylor and Paula Turner. The Travel Network Group, which is also the parent company of the Travel Trust Association, provides all the back office technology.
Director Paula Turner said: “The quality of candidates seeking the opportunity to build and develop their own business has exceeded our expectations. Working with our joint venture partner, the Travel Trust Association, we offer our homeworkers complete independence to sell from the widest range of operators, 100% financial protection, along with higher levels of commission and significantly lower monthly costs than the majority of other homeworking companies.”
ITE also recently announced that it will pay the forward commission of homeworkers joining from other companies.
Turner added: “This will provide greater security during challenging times and we are confident that this initiative will further support our ambitious growth plans.”
