New travel support business hails strong industry response

Start-up trade support group TOP Network claims a stronger than expected initial response from the trade.

The company claims a strong start since launch at the start of the month, with its goal of helping the travel industry to get back on its feet from the Covid-19 crisis.

Industry veterans Kevin Brett and Gary Orr joined forces to establish the busiess designed to support travel workers hit by Covid job cuts to gain new employment.

TOP Network specialises in assisting travel personnel find short- and mid-term consultancy projects, matched with travel companies needing help to re-start business with limited resources through difficult times.

Orr said: “Since our launch on October 1 we have received great interest and excitement from potential network consultants and freelancers as well as trade partners looking to help us with our objectives to help the industry back to its feet.

“Social media engagement has been strong and there is good traffic to our website. Our message to the travel industry is ‘we are ready to help’.”

TOP Network is also working on its third new client enquiry, attracting interest from travel businesses in the UK, US and Middle East.

Brett added: “We already have three new potential clients in discussion in the space of the first two weeks since launch, so it has been a great start.

“We are offering realistic solutions for travel companies who are working with limited budgets and headcount.

“A more flexible dip-in and out service is garnering good interest, offering a fresh approach to conducting business.”
