Two new agency members for Aito

Two new members, including the first in Northern Ireland, have joined Aito Specialist Travel Agents.

Feherty Travel in Bangor, Northern Ireland was founded in 1973 by two brothers, Billy and Jack Feherty. It has six members of staff – each with 20 years’ travel experience.

Manager Neil Walker said: “We’re delighted to become an Aito agent and honoured to be the first member in Northern Ireland.

“Aito membership will only enhance our service to clients, opening us up to a fantastic range of products and offering customers the widest possible choice of quality holidays.”

Hyde Barker Travel, based in Southwell, Nottingham, has recently been taken over by Barbara Cray and John Lightwood who have a strong track record in tour operations, active travel and specialist destinations.

Cray said: “We believe our aspirations marry well with those of Aito, namely to offer a quality product at a value for money price underscored by excellent personal service.

“We look forward to meeting and learning from Aito members as we endeavour to move the business forward in the coming years.”

Aito Specialist Travel Agents chairman Oliver Broad said: “We warmly welcome both Hyde Barker Travel and Feherty Travel to Aito Agents.

“We hope to see them both, along with a record number of other Aito Agents, at our domestic conference taking place at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire on January 14-15.”
