Initiative praised by WTM winners


Agents who took part in last year’s Discovery programme have praised the initiative.



Alison Kerr, a customer services manager with Thomas Cook, took an educational trip to Israel to preview the country’s millennium celebrations.



“Discovery is an excellent way for those new to World Travel Market to break the ice with exhibitors, discover new places and meet people who work in our industry in every corner of the globe.”



Joanne Potts, a senior travel consultant with Pole Travel, won an action-packed break in Wales. She said: “Discovery is a fun way to learn about different destinations. The Crew were helpful when we couldn’t find the right stands – they helped us save lots of time.”
