Celestyal Cruises introduces new booking system

A new booking system is to be introduced by Celestyal Cruises to enhance trade distribution.

The Seaware reservations platform includes increased capabilities for agents to provide clients with a greater variety of pre and post-cruise packages, shore excursions and on board options.

The software will provide advanced revenue management performance, a pricing and business policy engine, a customer loyalty programme and the ability to offer advanced CRM functionality for both consumers and travel planners.

It is being supplied by travel and leisure industry software solutions supplier Versonix.

The Greek line’s chief commercial officer Leslie Peden said: “After carefully reviewing and testing all of the leading cruise reservation systems on the market, Versonix Seaware clearly became our top choice as it provides Celestyal with the greatest flexibility and enables us to enhance the support for travel agent partners in selling our cruises with enhanced CRM capability and guest loyalty programme.”

Celestyal has also launched a series of seven-day flash sales, offering cruise fares from £539 per person for double occupancy of staterooms on qualifying seven-night cruises with £99 per person deposits and flexible booking policies.

Each flash sale will run for a seven-day booking window starting every Thursday at midnight until March 26. The first starts from midnight January 28 to February 4, featuring selected three-night sailings.
