EasyJet passenger numbers in April grew by 8.6% to more than 5.1 million.
The budget carrier also increased its load factor by 2.8 percentage points to 89.3% over the same month last year.
Total carryings for the year to April were up by 7.1% to 56.2 million from 52.4 million with the load factor improving by one percentage point to 88.2%, the airline announced today.
