Financial journalist Anthony Hilton has been added to the list of speakers at this year’s Abta Travel Convention.
The financial editor of the London Evening Standard will share his opinions on the financial and business scene.
He is to explore the deeper impact of world events, such as the banking crisis, eurozone challenges and the Arab Spring, and the consequences these might have for the UK’s outbound travel sector.
Hilton joins Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief executive Kevin Sheehan, Baroness Susan Greenfield, consumer trends specialist William Higham and Graham Cooke, boss of web analytics company QuBit as keynote speakers at the convention in Turkey on October 9-11.
Abta says more than half of delegates registered so far for the convention at an all-inclusive resort in Belek are senior industry figures and business leaders.
Business sessions are to be moderated by ITV News special correspondent Daisy McAndrew.
