C&M Recruitment Consultancy has launched a dedicated events division to be headed up by former Tui UK events manager Sarah Anson.
The department will focus on a range of UK and international roles, from events assistant to events director.
Anson’s background includes five years at Tui UK, where her events experience included working as a ‘fixer’ for a Channel 4 film in Mallorca and producing a 1,000-person charity event in Cape Verde. She has also worked with London Fashion Week and the Earls Court Festival.
She said: “C&M is already well-established as the leading recruitment agency in travel and hospitality – a dedicated events division is a natural next step and will perfectly complement our existing network of key industry players within these sectors.
“We will specialise at all levels and will be targeting hotels, venues and event management agencies. I believe my background in events and hotels gives us a real edge in understanding clients’ requirements and providing the quality of service they demand.”
