Peak summer carryings by EasyJet surged by 6% to top 5.8 million.
The budget airline revealed August carryings today, showing the increase over 5.5 million people flown in the same month last year.
The passenger load factor declined marginally by 0.5 percentage points to 91.7% year over year.
The airline said annual carryings to August were up by 7.4% to 58.1 million.
