BUSINESS travel recruitment agency C&MRecruitment has launched its virtual job centre on the Internet after twice delaying it to fine-tune the technology.
The site allows business travel agents to advertise their vacancies and allows potential employees to post their CVs on a virtual job board to let agencies know they are available for work.
C&M, which is based in Barbican, London, was due to launch the virtual job centre in the spring, but delayed getting the system up and running because it wanted to perfect its extranet.
The secure extranet allows business travel agencies to type in their own password sothey can access confidential information.
When a business travel company has a vacancy to advertise, he or she fills in a template on the screen giving details of the job, annual pay, bonuses, benefits and telephone number.
