BRITISH Mediterranean Airways is to unveil major expansion plans for the millennium by October.
The carrier is evaluating a number of new routes in the Middle East and former Soviet Union to support its seven existing British Airways franchise services from Heathrow. British Mediterranean chief executive Des Hetherington said:”We have some exciting plans in place which are in the process of being finalised.”
British Mediterranean recently lodged a route licence application with the Civil Aviation Authority to operate flights from Heathrow to the Uzbekistan capital, Tashkent early next year.
