Holiday Autos strengthens training plan

HOLIDAY Autos is to take its long-distance learning programme a step further with the introduction of a database system that can track agents as they move jobs.

Over 40,000 agents have signed up for the car-hire broker’s existing Academy of Training programme since it was introduced two years ago. The new database, called Holiday Autos Contact System, is designed to enable Holiday Autos training staff to track the development of individual agents’ training.

Each agent who has attended a training programme provides course feedback from which individual follow-up training requirements are detailed. All this feedback is entered into the database which will also keep track of agents if they move to a different job.

Holiday Autos sales and training development manager Julia Moorcroft said: “Our training is proving to be very beneficial to the travel trade because it is generating increased awareness of Holiday Autos’ product while teaching proven selling skills that will maximise sales opportunities and service to customers.”
