Advantage looks for US partner to join global network

ADVANTAGE Travel Centres is looking for a US partner for its global network after its previous partner pulled out.

US consortium Travelsavers was one of the founding members of the global network, called Worldwide Independent Travel Network, which was set up 12 years ago. The network, known as WIN, now has 15 member consortiums worldwide and a network of 12,000 agents. WIN’s combined strength enables members to benefit from global deals, particularly hotel rates.

Advantage business development manager Norman Gage said:”Travelsavers and WIN found they wanted different things so the consortium has left. It is a bit of a problem trying to find the right consortium to fill the gap.”
