Ryanair’s 54th European base is to open in Zadar in Croatia next April with the introduction of seven new routes.
East Midlands, Liverpool and Dublin will gain routes to the destination as part of a claimed $70 million investment which will see an aircraft based in Zadar.
A total of 16 routes will operate from the new hub in 2013 resulting in 68 flights a week carrying an expected 300,000 passengers a year.
The budget carrier is also introducing Liverpool-Malta, Stansted-Kefalonia and Knock-Malaga routes for next summer.
The flights go on sale from today.
