OPERATORS and agents heading Down Under for ABTA ’99 and invited on post-convention tours to New South Wales with the chap pictured centre should beware. Rumour has it he terrorised female operators at this year’s Australian Tourism Exchange and not just by his leather-clad outfit. Not only did he send them off into the rainforest with long-haired bikers, but he also put them to sea – firstly on dodgy-looking surf boards, then in rubber dinghys, and finally far out in the choppy ocean in search of phantom whales.
