Bmi regional was the most punctual scheduled airline in the UK for the first nine months of 2012.
The airline gained the position based on on-time performance statistics for 35 airlines serving the UK.
The carrier has held the title of the UK’s most punctual airline since 2005 and is now on course to retain it for a record eighth year.
The latest January to September figures are published by flightontime.info using data from the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
The airline’s chief executive Cathal O’Connell said: “We are delighted to yet again achieve the accolade of the most punctual scheduled airline in the UK.
“Holding on to this top position is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to all the bmi regional team.
“The airline went through a significant transition during 2012 as part of its separation from the BMI group so it is particularly pleasing to know that our punctuality record was unaffected and we continue to offer our customers the professional service they can rely on.”
