A dedicated travel unit has been established by a specialist business to business consultancy to help support UK companies through the most difficult trading conditions for years.
HuntRevenue, with offices in London, Malaga and Brussels, set up the travel division because it believes the industry will be one of the first to benefit from an upturn in the economy, which may come towards the end of the year.
The international business firm’s chief executive Ian Hunter: “The UK travel industry has a history of high profile entrepreneurs who knew what sort of holidays and travel the public wanted and took advantage of business and technological developments to enable them to offer that.
“We are confident that this spirit still exists and that – as in the past – growth in the industry will come from small and mid-sized companies.
“The problem is that many of these companies may have great ideas but will find it very difficult to develop them in a climate where money is hard to come by, customers are fussy and it is increasingly easy to get tangled up in red tape. We see the result in the number of failures each year.”
He added: “We can help SMEs put robust structures in place that will boost their bottom line and get them fit and ready to take advantage of better conditions as soon as they appear on the horizon.
“We all know that, for the British public there is always a good reason to go on holiday – we hope our new B2B travel division will help more travel companies take advantage of this for the future”.
The travel division is aimed at helping all sectors of the industry with practical hands-on sales, marketing and business development.
Key services include:
- Sales and revenue building
- E-commerce integration
- International business development
- Service and product packaging
- Licensing and franchising
The company also offers business contacts in many different countries, offering sales support in nine European languages and has experience of working in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Southern Africa, the Far East and Latin America.
The HuntRevenue team has worked with travel suppliers on a global basis since the early 1980s.
