ABTAis to review bonding arrangements with ARTAC following crisis talks with theconsortium.
Relations between the two reached an all-time low last month when the launch of ARTAC’s new bonding scheme sparked a public slanging match (Travel Weekly July 19).
Newman Street has now attempted to heal the rift by agreeing to look at the scheme once again.
ARTAC chairman Colin Heal said:”It was a full and frank discussion which has helped to clear the air.”
Meanwhile, ARTAC is yet to make a decision on whether to fight for a place on the new ABTAboard. Advantage Tra-vel Centres will appoint acandidate.
