A $141 million project to develop three all-suite hotels in New York has been unveiled by franchise giant Choice Hotels International.
The Cambria Suites properties would provide 461 rooms and create almost 1,000 jobs.
The hotels are to be to be located in Times Square and Chelsea in Manhattan, as well as White Plains in nearby Westchester County.
The first is due to open this summer in White Plains followed by the two New York City hotels in 2014.
Choice is working with property developers Concord Hospitality, We Care Trading and Meyer Jabara Hotels to build the hotels.

The New York plans follow agreements to open Cambria Suites in Phoenix, Arizona and Plano, Texas. There are currently 19 of the branded properties in the US
