This website was brimming with information about Tanzania, but it was nothing compared with the knowledge displayed by the agent over the phone.

He really knew his stuff, and gave me a few ideas immediately before offering to research quotes. I got an email within 24 hours with four superbly detailed itineraries from Tanzania Odyssey and sister brand Africa Odyssey, all involving flights in the region with Air Kenya via Nairobi and presented with photos of the camps, details of each day’s activities and health advice.

Prices ranged from £2,900 for 11 days, split between Lake Manze camp in the Selous Game Reserve and Mchanga Beach Lodge in Zanzibar, to £3,900 for 11 days at Lake Manze, Mdonya Old River Adventure Camp in Ruaha, and Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar.

I loved the range of safari and coast options, and knew I’d be in safe hands here
