March numbers up for Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus passenger carryings grew by 4.3% to 844,000 in March over the same month last year.

Short-haul numbers, including Aer Lingus Regional, rose by 3.4% to 761,000. Capacity on short-haul routes was down by 7% year on year, resulting in an improved load factor of 77.3%.

Long-haul passengers rose by 13.7% to 83,000 in the month as capacity rose by 9.5% to give a better load factor of 84.4%.
