Tripoli Sail Travel has been appointed as Hogg Robinson Group’s new partner in Libya.
The company will support the travel management company’s clients around the world with local and regional expertise.
Tripoli Sail Travel, established in 2004 and one of Libya’s biggest agencies, provides bookings for international and domestic tickets, global hotel reservations, corporate and VIP services, and passport and visa services.
HRG company secretary and central services director Keith Burgess said: “Foreign direct investment and the opening up of North African economies in the wake of the socio-political uprisings have fuelled significant interest in the region as a whole.
“Tripoli Sail Travel brings an in-depth knowledge of the local market and an outstanding reputation for client support and reliability.

Commenting on the partnership, the agency’s general manager Wesam Elayeb said: “We have no doubt that it will help us to build on the services we supply internationally, while meeting the needs to HRG global clients travelling to the region.”
