WALES TOURIST BOARD EYES INCENTIVE BOOKINGS


The Wales Tourist Board has launched a brochure aimed at the conference and incentive market. Called Wales, the Incentive Destination, it contains details on suitable venues to hold conferences and types of team-building activities available. SABRE RENEWS CONTACT WITH ICKENHAM TRAVEL


Global distribution system supplier Sabre has renewed its business with Ickenham Travel Group with a three-year contract. Ickenham was one of the first agencies in the UK to sign up to Sabre’s Internet product, Sabre Web Reservations, which allows agents to access the GDS database over the Internet.

SURVEY SHOWS RISE IN EUROPEAN AIR FARES


A Carlson Wagonlit Travelsurvey has shown that business-class fares in Europe have risen by between 3%-6% in the past year, while business travel fares to the Far East have decreased by an average of 1%.
