Heathrow security ‘warned of breast implant explosives’

Security officials at Heathrow are reported to have been warned that terrorists could be planning to conceal explosives in breast implants.

A staff member reportedly told the Daily Telegraph that extra security checks had been ordered and these were causing longer delays than usual at the airport.

Security experts said body scanners would find it harder to identify items hidden inside the body.

A Heathrow Airport spokesperson declined to comment.
