Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana is to host the 2014 Travel Convention, Abta has announced.
It will be the first time the travel trade conference has been held in Slovenia. It will be held from September 22 to 24, 2014.
The news was revealed at this year’s Travel Convention in Dubrovnik, Croatia, which borders Slovenia.
Sine Murn, of the Slovenian Tourist Board, said: “We see this as an ideal opportunity to increase the number of UK visitors to our country and to develop closer ties with the British travel industry.”
