Crystal Holidays founder Peter Dyer is being tipped for a return to the ski tour operating area.
He is set to buy Ski Famille, a specialist family holiday company, through his Vertigo Holidays vehicle, according to the Sunday Times.
Dyer is best known for selling Crystal Holidays to Thomson, now part of Tui Travel, and Enigma to Inghams.
He is thought to be planning further deals, the newspaper reported.
