European low-cost carrier Norwegian carried almost to two million passengers in October, up 19% on the same month last year.
The airline continues to take delivery of new aircraft, increase seat capacity, establish new bases in Europe and launch new routes, including low-fare flights from Gatwick to the US next year.
Norwegian operated 99.7% of its scheduled flights last month, with 89.4% departing on time.
The load factor was up by one percentage point to 79.3% over the same month last year.
Chief executive Bjørn Kjos said: “I am pleased that more and more passengers choose to fly Norwegian and that the load factor continues to increase, even when increasing the seat capacity considerably.
“This proves that good quality at a low fare is important for passengers.”
