Return fares to Indonesia starting at £556 are being offered by Garuda ahead of the launch of London flights next year.
Indonesia’s national carrier starts the first non-stop service between Gatwick and Jakarta on May 29.
The special introductory rates apply to return economy class bookings for travel departing before July 1.
Rates start at £576 to Jakarta and £556 and £948 for connecting flights to Bali and Sydney respectively.
Garuda will initially fly non-stop between Jakarta and London three times a week, rising to five flights a week from October 2014.
President and chief executive Emirsyah Satar said: “We are very excited to be launching the first non-stop flight from London to Jakarta and to announce our new fares.
“The new rate has been designed to attract leisure and business travelers alike and we believe these fares will definitely give competitors a run for their money.”
