The Travel Network Group will made its TV debut when Worldchoice TV’s inaugural show was aired last night.
The show was broadcast at 8pm on Ideal World. It was due to be repeated on Ideal Extra on Friday at 10am and Monday at 11am.
The second show will run on December 5 at 8pm.
Gary Lewis, group managing director, said: “This exciting new initiative has taken a great deal of time to prepare, both in terms of creating the programme and establishing the back-office administration processes to support the calls.
“Our aim with Worldchoice TV is to raise the awareness of the Worldchoice brand for all members and drive sales for members and business partners.”
It is hoped the show will drive business to Worldchoice members and business partners. To cope with the spike in demand from the show a fulfillment deal has been agreed with Worldchoice member Premier Travel based in Cambridge.
From January, Worldchoice will have a regular slot on the channel. The deal will promote agents to the million viewers the channel claims it has every day. The show can promote all types of holidays with the exception of ski and cruise.
