Europcar has appointed Steve Maltby as fleet and operations director. He joins from Avis where he worked for 24 years, formerly as operations director and then as purchasing director.
Yvonne Oldershaw has been appointed as senior corporate sales manager of the Shaw Park Plaza hotel which is due to open in central London in September. She previously worked for Choice Hotels Europe as conference sales manager.
Dave Cockburn has joined Posthouse as the new regional director for Posthouse south. He previously worked in New Zealand for Copthorne Millennium as chief executive for two years.
Peter Birchall has joined Marbella Club Hotels and Resorts as managing director. He was formerly general manager/consultant at the Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow.
Amathus Holidays has promoted Viki Fardell to the role of sales and marketing co-ordinator. Fardell will also continue with her existing role of wedding co-ordinator.
John Philipson has been appointed as executive assistant manager at St David’s Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay, part of the Forte group. He was previously rooms division manager at Forte’s Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh.
