Virgin Atlantic is adding a fifth weekly flight to Vancouver from Heathrow next summer.
An additional 2,000 seats will be provided to and from the Canadian city during the peak summer period.
The airline will add Sunday flights between May and August while flights will also run on Wednesdays from July to September, resulting in five weekly returns in the height of the season, the airline said.
Virgin expects to carry up to 1,300 a week to Vancouver next summer.
Airline planning director Edmond Rose said: “We currently run a seasonal service four times a week from Heathrow to Vancouver and we are delighted at its popularity.
“To meet this demand we have taken the decision to introduce a fifth weekly service next summer, resulting in a strong increase in the number of seats available.”
