All 18 passengers on board a small aircraft that crashed in bad weather in Nepal have been killed, according to reports.
The Nepal Airlines aircraft was flying from the resort city of Pokhara to Jumla when contact was lost shortly after take-off on Sunday.
All 15 passengers, among them a foreigner, and a crew of three were killed in Sunday’s crash at Masine hill in the village of Dhikura, 200 km (125 miles) west of the capital Kathmandu, officials told Reuters.
An aviation official said the plane appeared to have crashed into a hill. Early reports indicate that the crash was caused by rain and heavy snow.
