Entrepreneur Lara Morgan has been added to the line-up of speakers for the Global Travel Group’s annual conference this month.
She will join producer-songwriter Pete Waterman and chef Levi Roots on the bill at the event in Chester.
A regular commentator on current affairs and business with both Sky and BBC News, Morgan has been a finalist in Ernst and Young Entrepreneur three times in addition to being a finalist in the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year Award.
She is known for building her own international business Pacific Direct, which manufactured and sold brand-licensed toiletries and amenities to the hotel industry, and selling a majority stake for £20 million in 2008.
Morgan’s latest initiative is a business called Company Shortcuts where mid-size companies can access practical advice, templates and frameworks to ensure that business owners can achieve accelerated growth.
She will share her entrepreneurial expertise with delegates at the conference on March 23-25.
Global Travel Group managing director Andy Stark said: “Given her exceptional background and proven track record for building businesses from the ground up, securing the talents of Lara Morgan is a real coup for us.
“I look forward to her session and am confident that she’ll deliver a high impact and memorable discussion that will leave delegates fired up and ready to put into action the many insights and habits she’s built her extremely successful career on.”
