DISNEY Cruise Line is being urged to extend the duration of its Caribbean cruises from three or four days to a whole weekin order to attract more UK holidaymakers.
Jane Donnely, the owner of specialist agency Just Cruises in Chichester, West Sussex, said: “The cruises are too short for the British market. People want a week on the ship, especially in the Caribbean.
“The cruise experience is definitely the ship and not the ports of call. There seems to be so much to do and so much entertainment that it wouldn’t be possible in three or four days to experience everything.”
Donnely was one of the 2,000 UK agents invited to tour Disney’s second ship, Disney Wonder, as it stopped offin Southampton on theway to Florida to carry outits inaugural voyage on August 15.
