Indications of early booking trends for this year are expected through a raft of trading updates from some of the largest travel companies this week.
Carnival Corporation and easyJet are due to give trading updates tomorrow (Tuesday).
The world’s biggest cruise company is expected to reveal a strong wave peak booking period.
This will be followed on Wednesday by a trading statement from Tui Travel, with Barclays expecting Europe’s largest tour operating group to report first-half losses in line with last year.
Thomas Cook will also provide an update on bookings on Thursday.
Chief executive Harriet Green previously revealed the firm had jumped from a first-quarter loss of £56 million in 2013 to a £10 million profit.
