A dedicated training officer has been appointed by Affordable Car Hire to run a new training academy for travel agents.
Affordable’s Road to Success (ARTS) provides agents with training modules to help them build add-on revenues by making car hire easier to sell.
Stacey Evetts has been promoted to agency sales training officer in a move designed to coordinate the range of online webinar and in-house training courses.
She previously worked in agency field sales and as a sales executive, having joined Affordable’s reservation’s team more than six years ago.
The courses are boosted by weekly training alerts and monthly free prize draws for those who pre-register.
Evetts said: “Our range of webinars last between 20 and 40 minutes and are designed to be fun. The modules cover everything an agent needs to know about selling car hire including how to book, insurance options, up-selling and overcoming obstacles with local supplier charges.
“As well as covering the basics we also run courses on specific destinations and can even arrange in-house training for agency teams who want to build their knowledge in a specific area.”
