Two people have been killed and others wounded in a drive-by shooting at the airport on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao.
The shooting occurred just outside the arrivals area at Curacao international airport in the capital of Willemstad late yesterday (Tuesday), according to local radio, the Associated Press reported.
Dolfijn FM said one of the dead was a young man from the Buena Vista neighbourhood of Curacao. No further details of the other death or precise information on the number of wounded were given.
The island of some 150,000 people about 40 miles off Venezuela is featured on many cruise ship itineraries.
