n Uzbekistan airways adds extra flight



Uzbekistan Airways has added a fifth weekly flight between Tashkent and Heathrow. The Boeing 767 service was expanded to meet growing demands from passengers from the Indian sub-continent, said the airline. Ex-Heathrow flights connect on to Delhi, Lahore and Dhaka.

Luton Airport reportedpassenger numbers were up a third in the first six months of 1999. The figure of 2.3m customers was split 77% and 23% in favour of scheduled services. Luton has also set up a booking service for its car park on Internet site www.london-luton.com

Norwich Airport andSuckling Airways have unveiled a lead-in fare of £99 return to Edinburgh.




n ryanair promotes £19.99 last-minute fare



Ryanair is promoting alast-minute one-way fare of £19.99 to Turin, Genoa, Carcassonne, Dinard and Frankfurt. The carrier has also cut prices to £99 for services to Rimini and Ancona.
