Thomson and First Choice passengers can now book a range of sustainability-friendly excursions online and in-store before travelling.
The Collection is a set of excursions tailored to help customers explore an area. The tours are available in seven destinations and have to meet minimum sustainability criteria to be included, as well as being exclusive to Tui.
Where possible they will also include Wi-Fi on the excursion and be all-inclusive.
The Thomson and First Choice Collection excursions are available in Majorca, Cyprus, Corfu, Crete, Tenerife, Dominican Republic (Puerto Plata and Punta Cana) and Turkey (Dalaman).
Jane Ashton, group director of sustainable development, said: “We’re delighted to be offering a range of exclusive and exciting excursions with sustainability principles that our customers can’t get anywhere else.
“We’ve put criteria in place to make sure that all excursions which are part of either the Thomson or the First Choice Collection are exclusive to us with whilst meeting sustainability minimum criteria.
“We’re very conscious about the impact of our holidays on the environment and local community and are always looking at ways of reducing this, and including our excursions in this is the next step for us.”
