A&K revamps brochure to feature more details

ABERCROMBIE and Kent has revamped its Expedition Cruising brochure following the results of customer feedback.

Research showed that not enough detail was included about the cruise itineraries while information on other aspects – such as what to wear – was also lacking.

The operator has now given the brochure an overhaul to take account of the feedback.

The programme features cruises aboard Explorer and takes in Antarctica, The Amazon and the lost islands of the Atlantic.

Managing director Mike Jones said the revamp highlighted the importance of customer research. “We continually ask our clients for feedback and what more they need from a brochure,” he said. “They asked us for more detailed information on the ship as well as what to wear and what they will see. We have now included this as well as detailing what to expect from each journey.

“This is very important as for many of our clients a trip on Explorer is considered the trip of a lifetime.

“They want to know everything there is to know about the ship and the explorations they will undertake.”

He added great efforts had been made to bring the destinations to life on the pages of the brochure.

The new programme has seen its Islands and Highlands cruises doubled from two to four while its Amazon itineraries have been extended.

Planning manager Jayne Smith said growth of 20% is being targeted.
