A bus carrying Chinese tourists has plunged off a 30ft cliff in Tibet killing 44 people, state media say.
The bus crashed into two other vehicles before falling off the road, the Xinhua news agency quoted local officials as saying.
Images from the scene showed rescue workers recovering bodies from the overturned vehicle.
A number of others were hurt in the crash on Saturday in Nyemo County, 75 miles west of Lhasa, the BBC reported.
